Terms and Conditions

1. About These Terms

These Terms & Conditions apply to all appointments booked with Sturdy Nails. By booking an appointment, you agree to these terms.

Sturdy Nails is operated by Emily Sturdy at a home salon location in Brigg, North Lincolnshire.

2. Booking Process

All bookings are subject to review and confirmation by Emily Sturdy.

A fixed booking fee is required for each appointment. This fee will be collected when you make your booking.

The booking fee paid when reserving your appointment will be deducted from your total service cost.

You will be required to complete a consultation form before your appointment. The appointment cannot proceed without this being completed.

3. Payment

Payment for services is due at the end of your appointment.

We accept the following payment methods: card, cash, and bank transfer.

4. Cancellations & Rescheduling

If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, you must give us at least 48 hours notice.

Cancellations or rescheduling requests made with less than 48 hours notice, or failure to attend your appointment, will result in forfeiture of your booking fee.

Repeated no shows or persistent cancellations, will require 100% percent of the treatment being paid when you book in.

To cancel or reschedule, please contact us as soon as possible.

Please arrive on time for your appointment. Late arrivals more than 10 minutes in will result in the appointment being shortened or cancelled and will be rescheduled.

5. Refund Policy

Once a service has been completed, no refunds will be provided.

If you're unhappy with your service, please let emily know immediately so we can try to resolve the issue.

6. Health & Safety Rules

For the safety and comfort of all clients, Babies, children and pets ( excluding service animals ) are not permitted at the salon.

Only one person is allowed in the studio at a time during appointments. Please attend your appointment alone.

No nail services will be performed on people under 16 years of age.

Clients between 16 and 17, must have a parent, guardian or carer sign a consent form, which will be sent after booking. Failure to do so will result in the appointment being cancelled.

7. Your Data & Privacy

We collect and store your personal information (such as name, contact details, and appointment history) to provide our services to you.

Your data is handled in accordance with UK GDPR regulations. We will never share your personal information with third parties without your consent, except where required by law.

You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time.

8. Liability

While we take every care to provide safe, high-quality services, you must inform us of any allergies, skin sensitivities, medical conditions, or medications that may affect your treatment.

Sturdy Nails accepts no liability for nail misuse, trauma, neglect and adverse reactions where you have failed to disclose relevant information or follow aftercare advice.

Your natural nail health is the most important, Sturdy Nails reserves the right to refuse treatment if deemed inappropriate or has the potential to cause harm to the natural nail.

9. Nail art

If you would like any type of Encapsulated Design, french tips, ombre or nail art, please add it to your booking via the nail art tab as I need extra time to do these.

If you fail to book nail art but want some at your appointment, it will be at my discretion if I can do it, based on my schedule on that day. Each nail art item is priced per item per nail.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. The latest version will always be available during the booking process.

Continued use of our booking system after changes indicates your acceptance of the updated terms.
